In the past few weeks, there have been rumors and speculations about the outsourcing business in India. Many people went to the extent of saying that outsourcing boom was over. However, the latest report suggests that India's outsourcing revenue rose 32 percent to reach US$6.6 billion in the second quarter of 2006. There is no doubt that India remains the most preferred destination for Western companies to shift their back-office work.
