Japan's leading electronic manufacturers NEC and Hitachi have decided to go the outsourcing way for some of their production processes. NEC plans to entrust a Chinese firm with a monthly business that will increase by 33% this year, and go further up to 50% next year, while Hitachi will increase its monthly outsourcing by 300% next year.
