India continues to enjoy the same advantages that it had for the burgeoning of the BPO and KPO industries in the country: good programming skills, low costs of production, and a growing market. These advantages has led India to capture the gaming outsourcing market to a large extent. This industry includes the development of computer games, video games, and mobile games.
The budget for a typical game product is between $4 to $10 million. Dhruva Interactive CEO Rajesh Rao has indicated that India is one of the top destinations for gaming outsourcing. Dhruva is involved in developing Microsoft Game Studios' Xbox. Another firm that has taken to providing gaming services is Mumbai-based Indiagames. Sify.com reports:
