A recent Hewitt survey indicates that despite some negative forecasts about the potential for outsourcing growth, there still exists a great number of companies looking to outsource services in coming years. The survey indicates that only 53% of companies are currently using offshore services, and that another 11% are committed to doing it this coming year. The Bangladesh Journal Reports:
One of the challenges though is identifying right suppliers. Others are defining tasks to offshore, selecting the right strategy and negotiating and placing contracts with supplier. Some respondents even feared compromising control with another companies. “Legal requirements, along with tax systems, language and cultural issues are other considerations for companies,” the survey said.
