"Outsourcing has gained inescapable momentum, according to a report from AMR Research, but the numbers add up to a picture that is very different from the one painted by jingoistic protectionists.
"The primary flow of outsourcing for the last several years has been from Europe and the US to India, but increasingly that flow is marked by companies moving operational blocks, rather than merely tasks, to India.
"AMR said that services companies Infosys and Wipro increased their revenues by 40 per cent and 36 per cent and their staffing by 46 per cent and 35 per cent, respectively, in the past 12 months." Read More
