"IBM Global Services has signed a $446 million IT outsourcing deal with Australian airline Qantas Airways Ltd.
"Under the terms of the 10-year deal, IBM will migrate Qantas' servers to a shared infrastructure at an IBM data center in Sydney and will manage a range of services, including help desk support, security and change management, at various locations.
"The services arrangement with IBM will allow Qantas to more quickly scale its infrastructure and staff resources to respond more rapidly to customer demands and growth opportunities, according to Brendon Riley, general manager of IBM Global Services Australia and New Zealand." Read More
