Infosys Co-founder Says 'There has been no impact of outsourcing law'

Express India reports on an interview with Mr. Gopalakrishnan, co-founder of Infosys Technologies Limited.

'"We have very excellent talent in India and the industry should consolidate its position and be a real global player,' opines Mr Gopalakrishnan...

"On the US outsourcing controversy, he says, 'So far there has not been any business impact of the US legislation on outsourcing in India and it is more of an emotional impact in India.'"

Similarly, in the US, the impact of outsourcing is largely emotional; according to knowledgeable economists, real effects have been if anything largely helpful to American economic growth.
